Meet our new Ceramics Director
Donna Pioli will be joining the Mother Brook Arts and Community Center's team as Ceramics Director. Donna has served as Interim Ceramics Director for the past few months and will be starting full-time Monday October 21. She is looking forward to working with all of our Ceramic Studio Artists, instructors, and students. Donna joined MBACC in 2017 as one of the first resident ceramics artists. Professionally, Donna has spent many years working for Emerson Hospital across multiple administrative positions including volunteer coordinator, human resources assistant and operations coordinator.
Donna has over fifteen years of experience working in clay and has enjoyed sharing her knowledge with students through art programming at Mother Brook Arts and Community Center, Indigo Fire Studio, The Carroll Center for the Blind, Special Needs Arts Programs (SNAP), and other regional art programs. In the studio, she delights in the level of control and malleability that clay affords…but also in the unexpected, stunning phenomena that can occur in the kiln. Her distinct Claypio designs are well-known throughout the region. Donna is a member of The League of New Hampshire Craftsmen and lives in North Chelmsford with her partner and their three pets.
