Arts Education
MB provides art classes for students of all ages. Our education model is based on experiential learning with a focus on skills rather than finished products. Our goal is to provide empowerment through knowledge and create a collaborative and inspiring community environment.

This workshop is designed for painters at all levels. New painters will be introduced to the basic building blocks of painting, including composition and color theory, while experienced painters will work with the instructor to set their own painting goals. These might include, understanding values, capturing light, or pushing your painting style in a new direction.

Collage journaling is an incredible way to quiet the inner critic because it shifts the focus from "drawing perfectly" to arranging, collecting, and trusting your eye. This 4-session course is a hands-on exploration of composition, texture, and visual storytelling. Students will learn how to look at everyday ephemera as art supplies, master adhesive techniques, and use intuitive prompts to overcome blank-page anxiety. By the end of this class, you will have the foundation of a personal visual practice and a journal of your own creative voice.
