Paint your pet! This one-night beginner workshop will guide you through the process of creating an acrylic painting of your pet. Have fun while learning how to color match, create textures, and capture your pet’s unique personality. Participants will be provided with paint and a canvas with your pet’s image already sketched out.

“Try It” workshops are a space for artists of all levels to come together and create. With less structure than a class, the goal is to build community and inspire creativity. Enjoy light refreshments and snacks, see new friends and old, and make art together!
Our focus this “Try It” is collage, hosted by collage artist Sarah Aroesty. Any collage related projects are welcome; BYO materials and pre-existing projects encouraged.

Move past basic techniques to discover how you can create depth, rhythm, and unexpected visual relationships in your paintings. Brushes are just the beginning, but if you are looking for ways to be more playful and expressive, this 6 week class is for you. We'll discover how to use hand made stencils, how to use transparent and opaque acrylic paints, and how to deepen our painting exploration by working on more than one piece at a time. You will learn to create your own stencils, develop color layering strategies, and integrate stenciled elements seamlessly with painterly techniques to create dynamic, layered compositions.

This 4-week course will review elements of observational drawing through warm-up activities and longer studies. Students will learn better how to depict and see, through skill-building in areas such as use of value, rendering dimensional shapes, and proportion. The instructor will perform demonstrations and provide feedback during the time students will have to practice in class.

New painters will be introduced to the basic building blocks of painting, including composition and color theory, while experienced painters will work with the instructor to set their own painting goals. Join Moon Gate Garden for a little floral creativity! In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn the art of creating a beautiful, garden-inspired centerpiece using a thoughtfully curated selection of fresh flowers and foliage.
We'll walk you through the fundamentals of floral arranging, from preparing your stems to creating shape, movement, and texture. You'll learn some of our favorite floral design techniques while creating an arrangement that feels natural, abundant, and uniquely yours.
No experience necessary! Whether you're a flower enthusiast or simply looking for a creative way to spend time, this workshop is designed for all skill levels.
All flowers, materials, and tools are provided, and you'll take home your finished centerpiece to enjoy.
